The monthly rates as at March 1st 2010 are as follows:
- Beavers - £10.00 per month
- Cubs - £15.00 per month
- Scouts - £15.00 per month
- Explorers - £15.00 per month
Monthly subscriptions are used to fund the Group's overheads and indirect costs of maintaining our buildings and facilities. Subscriptions are paid by standing order, as this helps to reduce administration.
Gift Aid
As part of the standing order form there is a clause confirming that the monthly payments are eligible for ‘Gift Aid’ claims from HMRC. This arrangement does not cost you anything, but if you are a UK tax payer it does permit the Group to claim back the basic rate tax previously paid on the monthly payment. Currently this increases the value of the monthly payment by 28%.
